Also how much difference will there be between the x- and y pipe?
Not sure if you already went with one brand or the other.

I've got the Pypes true duals and love 'em.

They are very deep sounding (and keep getting deeper).

They've been on for 70,000 miles and they are SO freakin' deep on the highway I get thumbs up from school busses full of kids before I even get up next to the bus!!!

I may be having a second (or third) childhood, but it's a blast!

Check out my vids...

Y pipe isn't real dual exhaust it's just splitting your single exhaust which makes no sense. The X-Pipe and H-Pipe is what I think you're really wanting to know the difference between, the H-pipe adds more torque than HP and the X-Pipe adds more HP than torque. Dont get Magnaflow. The guy at the Muffler shop today told me they're pieces of **** and won't last you at all. Here's a clip of my super 44 flowmasters if you wanna hear mine. I did an H-pipe with 3.5" tips

Magnaflow now doubt. I don't like the sound of Pypes that much.

As i said you dont have to go true dual if you dont want supercharger and for N/A cars true dual will loose you some low end torque. But if you really want go for it. BTW Macs are awesome, here is mine and its not true dual, it is the Y-Y
