Performance comparison- brake pads: Hawk HPS vs EBC vs Akebono

Has anyone actually run a comparison on these brake pads, even for a V-6? Hawk HPS seem to be for high performance, racing and street racing; EBC seem to be somewhere in the middle and Akebono seem to be low dust, low noise OEM type replacenments but better bite. Any feedback from actual users or any magazine comparos I've missed??

I have EBC Greens on my 3/4 ton Yukon, they work well. On the Cobra, I have Hawk HPS. They are great too. So buy what your favorite store has easy access to. And race pads are just that. Race, not street.
