2010 V6 Mustang Project

I was saving up to buy a car through high school then for my graduation I was given a new 2010 V6 Mustang. So I still have the about $16k left for me to buy a car so instead of just getting a new car i want to make this one unique. Here are my thoughts: 4.3L stroker kit, CAI and tuner combo, Ford Racing Duals, TLOK, 3.73s, custom sts twin turbo for the 4.3L, possible a tranny swap for a t56 6-speed manual with short shift, and a lot of visual stuff. What do you think/suggest and what should i do for suspension. I planned on getting 19's and staggering them but i didnt know what I should do in combo with that for suspension. Thanks!

Invest in yourself (education, eliminate debt, downpayment on a house). Don't waste money on a car, especially if you depend on that car for transportation.

Trust me if you do you'll be kicking yourself in a few years.

I cant believe I'm saying this, but J Orbit is correct! most cars are depreciating assets and the ones that aren't are rare and rarely driven. Your V6 unfortunately falls under the first. Make it yours, but I wouldn't recommend dumping heaps of money into a car that you will never get it back.

You are blessed to have the car as a gift. Chances are you have a well off family if they bought you that knowing your insurance rate will be high. Hear me out...
If you just have 16K to blow... just trade the car off on a V8. With that cash, you might be able to get a 07 etc and still have no car note. But since this is going to be your everyday car. If you love mustangs so much... trust me... save the money just throw all of in into a 10 year CD. Continue to save. Go to college, etc. BY the time 10 years comes, you can really buy a Mustang, maybe a nice down payment on a Shelby? You can save the money and buy llittle odds and end for your V6. As you see, most of us here are career working, college grads, etc. Learn from our mistakes... save the money and graduate from school. If I could do it all over again... I would have went to UTI.
