v6 dual exhaust muffler question

so my question is, based on personal experience, thrush welded, flowmaster super 44, flowmaster 40, or thrush turbo? im leaning towards the thrush turbo because they are bassically a louder version of the stock gt muffler, at least i think, and i really like the sound of my stock gt's because i want a louder note that still sounds good, so any advice is helpful

I went with the GT takeoffs from newtakeoffs.com the kit they have is good and I am happy with the sound.

Its really hard to say.. because what you like and what I like are different things. I too have the GT takeoffs... its nice but I think its too "quiet". I'm really thinking about changing out to Pypes GT mufflers. I like their sound. The best thing I can think of... go to some car shows that have mustangs and ask around, you might luck up and see several V6 with different set ups. Don't listen to a V8 and compare it... there's no comparison. Also, keep in mind, the more "open" the muffler is, the chances you will have that drone sound coming in. I think glasspacks are wonderful... but when the drone comes in... you might change your mind.

I am really happy with my GT takeoffs, they sound great, a little quiet but for now I am happy. Down the road when I decide to splurge I'll go for some Borlas, Bassani or GTA/GTB mufflers. As for you, the Thrush Turbo sounds pretty good. The Flow 40's are not bad, but I think the American Thunders sound a little better

XCharger HiPo 2.8, JBA shorty headers, Zabteck ported & polished TB, Mac ProChamber, Flowmaster American Thunders, GT500 shocks/struts/strut mounts, GT500 front LCA's, Shaftmasters 4" aluminum d/s
