JLT heat shield bracket

ive posted this a couple years ago, but thought i throw the pics up again just for ideas to all the people that have bought jlt`s. my car doesnt have abs and i didnt like the zip tie to the radiator support so i made a bracket thats solid.

i took a pc of scap metal i had on hand, angle, cut a little square off the top and bent it. rounded the edges a little on the grinder, drilled a hole to bolt to the plastic shield, drilled a hole in the plastic, used a hole already in the frt support. it fits under my radiator extensions good too.

i`m sure you could make it even nicer, but this has worked fine too

Nice job, My friend Gave me his JLT CAI and because I have abs, I had to fabricate the box to fit with the abs module, not a big deal some simple cuts with a dremel tool and it fits perfect

Mike,

Nice job on the bracket. The zip tie was not the best thing, seems like a bit of a "OH CRAP" moment on JLT's part!

I have ABS so mine just rests on the module body. Was not sure about that at first, but it seems good and stable and not wanting to go anywhere.
