Smoked Taillight Covers HELP

Everytime I open and close the trunk or sometimes while just driving the taillight covers come out at the bottom of the lights since there's nothing to hold them at the bottom. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to making them permanantly stay???

yeah i think ill just go get the tape. didnt know if there was a different way other than using the tape. def. not doing the lamin-x. my hand aint too steady and would probably end up with bubbles even after sweeping them all out.
