SPEC Stage 2 Clutch Kit for 2005 Mustang V6

SPEC Stage 2 Clutch (05-June 07 Mustang V6) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Lets here it...

I'm very interested in this. I, unfortunately, know nothing about
the benefits of this clutch "upgrade". If anyone would be so kind as
to tell me/explain it to me aka dumb it down...

I'd much appreciate it. I'm currently looking @ this product through
AM and figured I'd just reuse my stock flywheel.

The clutch kit has the pressure plate, friction plate, and alignment tool.. You'll probably need a new slave, new master cylinder, and possibly the line that runs between them. I took the bleeder off of the old line and put it on the new one

With F/I I would go with a higher stage... possibly 2+ or 3... you can go on to the SPEC website and order it from there... shipping won't be free, but you'll probably need more than stage 2...
I don't believe that your year flywheel is compatible with the SPEC Clutch. But I may be wrong. I had stage 1 before and it was smoked in four months. I just replaced the friction plates ($80) and put the aluminum flywheel back in. I kinda like the lighter flywheel. It winds up faster, but at the same time it doesn't have the momentum the lump of cast iron has.

The benefits? well, it depends on how you drive it. If you're like me, you aren't gunna get beat by some country hick with his 'truck' aka-chevy with glasspacks.. and as soon as you think it's broke in, you're gunna romp on it and see what you can do... I probably did that a lil too early... At first it feathered a little bit, it was mainly on or off though. A day of driving and you'll be ready for just about anything though but as far as F/I.. I think I would go a higher stage... just sayin...
