New Battery, 0 miles to empty now?

Hey, as title states... just put a new Duralast Gold in, (original battery NG). After installation, I see that the fuel guage still shows full, as it should, but the "info center" beeped at me and is now telling me low fuel, 0 miles to empty... I had to reset the drivers window, (?!) and that's fine now, will this info center catch up eventually with the fact that the tank is full? (It's crappy pouring weather here, so I can't take it for a cruise till sometime this weekend...)

The miles to empty is based on your average mpg. My guess is your mpg calculator was reset. It doesn't matter how many gallons are in your tank if your computer thinks you get 0 mpg. Cycle through the display and see what it reads.

Glad I could put your mind at ease. As soon as you get it back on the road the warning should go away.
