will the pypes m80s mid muffler system pass emissions

Yeah I'm looking at dyno max dual exhaust and looking at the differet pypes dual exhaust kits for our v6s but can't make a descion because of possible emissions problems so I really like the m80s exhaust kit by pypes don't know if it'll be better than the other ones ? Can some one tell me the way they'd go?

As long as you are running cats you should be fine! Mufflers are for sound only, louder or quieter based on design

Garage
My Pypes violators passed and they're just a muffler shape with a perforated tune inside. No baffles or anything. Just make sure they know you're running mid mufflers and not axle backs like they'll be looking for.

And again, aslong as you're catted you should be fine.

Agreed with the above statements,

im in california but havent smogged yet, nor have I been pulled over for "suspicion". But usually they stop monitoring the pipes after the cat because if you think about it, what comes after the cats...just pipe and a muffler which is only used for noise purposes...so if you were to fail, it wouldnt be because of you exhaust...

mufflers are not a part of smog regulations i dont think...it has nothing to do with your emission system...

Again, you should have 0 issue passing smog with the mid muffler since you are still running a muffler, just not in the back...if you were to fail smog for any reasson, my money would be on it having to do with engine problems, your cats being bad, or some visual failure...not sure if they do that in AZ, but they do in california
