Harmonic balancer on national backorder

Anyone else encounter this problem. I don't think the car is safe to drive. I was under the impression that this is a common problem. I'm not sure why a part like this should be unavailable. In fact, it should at the very least be part of a service campaign.

I haven't yet at 127k... but the rubber is starting to have signs of hairline cracks.. Hope they get it resolved quick!

Was this part ordered through a Ford Dealer, 08vapor?

It was a dealer that said this. Taking it to another dealer to see if they can help.

This is a fairly common issue with the h/b's on these engines. You could look around for a good used one, too.
