X Charger HiPo kit

Well after 4 days of messing with my X charger we are still having some issues. The kit itself is great quality and comes with excellent instructions. A couple of things could be tweaked and a few bolt sizes were listed wrong but other than that a pretty good kit. Upon initial startup we were having a misfire, vacuum leak, and extremely rough idle. We pulled everything back apart today and made our own gasket from "the right stuff" which my uncle who is a mechanic suggested we use instead. The EGR tube for the X charger kit IS A PAIN IN THE ASS. We are still having trouble getting that lined up properly. Once we crank it in the morning we hope the leaks and issues will be sorted out.

Ps: Also the included belt was about 1/2 too short and we broke two belt tensioner trying to get it on. We went to oreillys and got the proper belt size which made that much easier. X Charger HiPo kit-imageuploadedbyag-free1452401623.555573.jpg

Finally got everything working properly, not a hard install but definitely tedious. The power gain is incredible. The car pulls so hard now. Overall highly recommend.

Welcome to the league of X-men! I loved the Xtreme kit on my 2006. Wish I could have gotten one for my 2013

The X-Charger Xtreme manual shows it as: drivebelt, 6 rib / 105.5 length, GY4061055 (Goodyear)

From what I’m seeing it looks like the Goodyear Gatorback has been rebranded as the Continental Elite, like this one:

Vista Blue 2009 V6 Premium w/Pony Package, X-Charger Xtreme #276
Auto, Custom duals, GT500 8.8 w/3.73 gears, Shaftmasters driveshaft, Konis, GT brakes, Roush rear springs, and various interior/exterior upgrades
48 states road tripping in my Pony...
