Question 2005 4.0 convertible rear suspension

I've been hearing a clunk over bumby roads, all searches pointed to sway bar links.. I went to take a look and didn't see a sway bar... am I missing one or not equipped with one? There is a "V" type brace upder the rear I guess to stiffening up.. any help wo u ld be appreciated.

I believe that only the "pony package" v6 models came with a rear sway bar from 05 to 09. As for the clunk, do a search for suspension clunk , the noise you hear can be due to several reasons, from bushings to strut mounts ,LCA's etc....

Only the Pony Pack came with a sway bar in the rear. You could add one if you wanted.

Check your bushings on the lower and upper control arms.

If the clunk is in the front, check your swaybar to strut link arms. They can get loose and clunk.
