Question How to upgrade from 7.5 to 8.8 differential and fix exhaust Metal Rattling noise

hey guys my ride is a 2007 v6 Auto Tranny with the pathetic 7.5 differential 3.31 gear, i was owner of a V6 2012 and i changed the gears to 3.71 and the difference was notable. Now i want to feel my ride like the 2012, i installed the Ford Racing CAI, SCT Tuner (strategy tune), Ford Racing X-pipe with 2.5 Gts dual exhaust tubes and Gt500 axleback w/o cats. I don't like the sound to much, its like Metal Rattling noise when accelerating. The muffle shop told me that to fix that have to install resonator or cats or change the mufflers. ¿What you guys recommend me?

I don't like the sound of a X pipe. I like the H pipe much better.

Removing the cats on the 4.0 doesn't get any performance enhancement - and as you've discovered, the exhaust note is not pleasant. Changing mufflers won't help, you need the cats back on the car.

It would be helpful if you would fill out your profile and put in your location. I know of some, but I don't know where you are.
