Angry Service issue on my 2011 Gt

I have a 2011 Gt premium and have 800 miles on it. At about 400 miles, I noticed that going over pot holes is making my front end shake and a thumping sound like something was loose. It does this mostly under 30-40 mph. I took it to service and had them check the rotors, wheels, struts, and all. After the tech looked it over, he determined that I have a bad tie rod. Anyone else with this problem?? Should he replace them both?? And will an allignment need to be done? He ordered it and should be here next week. WTF.? Any suggestions? Thanks.

someone else on here had a noise in the front end with a 2010 or 2011...I wonder if it might be same as your problem. I cannot find that thread easily at this time.

Your car could have been damaged in shipping, just that part, no others, and not have left production in that condition. Just one problem on an otherwise great car.
