Full size spare in a Brembo GT

I have a full size spare in my Brembo GT.

I had to deflate it to get it in, and it is two inches above the floor.

The stock trunk mat looks good over it.

The jack, inflator, and lug wrench all fit inside the wheel.

I used the new Ford racing track pack wheel and a 255/40/ZR/19 stock size tire.

I thought you would like to know

No, my tire guy says it is unlikely to happen with a new tire and wheel.

I might add a little pressure to it, and I can re-seat it if it does happen. That is not a big deal.

I did the same thing with one of the Brembo wheels that came with the car after I put on my GT500 wheels. I inflated the tire to 12 psi after I put it in the hole. I already had to use it, picked up a screw one night, pulled over, deflated the spare a little, pulled it out, inflated it with the compressor, and 10 minutes later back on the road. After that I also put a plug kit in the trunk as well. I definitely feel better having the full size spare! Also, I still have two of the stock Brembo wheels/tires for sale if anyones interested, PM me

It only sticks up 2 inches higher than normal, so you can fit basically anything into the trunk that you could without it in there.
