Which midpipe makes the most power?

I'm making my parts list to start getting stuff so that when my 2012 GT shows up, I can come home to a garage full of goodies and I'm wondering if there have been any tests yet on the mid pipes for these cars?

I know bassani has one, Magnaflow has one and Corsa's got one.


I'm planning on putting on the GT500 axle back setup first along with one of those 3 mid pipes but I haven't seen anything about any of them regarding any potential power gains they may offer.

I know corsa claims a few hp from theirs but I'm just curious if anyone has done any specific dyno testing to see what HP gains these mid pipes have. No one is publishing any power numbers... not even the manufacturers

to be honest. i dont think it matters which one. your not going to feel a diference.

go with the brand you like. for sound. h pipes are deeper than x pipes generally, x pipes make 1 or 2 hp more so its been said.

I have not seen many dyno's but as above hearthrob H seems like the most I have seen so far, but I am sure there is more to come

Hpipes make more lower end TQ... Xpipes make it up higher... but over all the Hpipe makes more TQ... and they are a deeper sound

2008 Shelby GT500, Torch RED with black stripe combo. HIDS, Shaker 1000, Ambient lighting.

Lethal has a OR X for $299 and is making as much HP as LTs.Check out this thread,hope it helps.

I don't want the extra noise that a catless exhaust creates. I had that on my old 97 GT and it was too loud.

I'd prefer to either get a new setup that leaves the stock cats and axle pipes/resonators in place or like the heart throb setup, better flowing resonator/over axle pieces.



Edit: OH SNAP!!! At The blowby vs lethal o/r pipe!!!!
