Once you drive on snow tires.... you never go back to no-seasons.

I moved to South Florida many years ago so I would never have to drive on snow,ENJOY your new tires.

That's good to hear, I'm planning on getting snows this spring or summer depending on when they're cheap. This year I'm just riding with my roomate who bought Blizzaks for his MazdaSpeed3 and he really likes them. So, how does it drive? I've heard a few people say it's similar to driving in rain with regular tires.

I put them on mine as well- Love them. Fairly quiet down the freeway and beyond what I expected for grip in the snow/ice. I don't think it has been above 30 degrees out while I have been driving so I have been taking it pretty easy in general

lol :yelpleased:

Too funny.

I remember when the Blizzaks first went on, the car felt like riding a tractor or a little blue tank.

Plus I also have a couple bags of gravel in the spare tire well, on each side of the inflation system.

I have those tires the *LM25* brand of blizzaks?

Then I have 280lbs of sand in the back that I got at menards.
They come in 70lb tubes for 3->4 dollars and take up little room. I got 4 of them just incase.

How does it drive?
After driving in a snow storm with 5-6 inches of snow and not getting stuck OR having any scares I would have to say it handles awesome.

When there is light snow it is like driving in the rain somewhat. If you slammed the brakes you'll get the ABS somewhat but it's nothing bad or scary.

All I can say is that this car handles AS GOOD if not BETTER with my setup than my fathers 4x4 F150 Triton *big truck with all seasons*

BTW I got my tires for $125 each on tirerack.com durring a clearance sale last week.
*JUST LOOKED IT UP THEY ARE STILL ON SALE*

I will either put the summer rubber back onto the brembo rims OR just get new rims of a similar size.
