2011 Gear Install Problem

I am having a local guy install 4.10s in my car this weekend and he has run into a problem. This is his first go round at an '11 though. He also installed them in my '08 and numerous other local cars so he knows what he is doing. When he installed the set in my '08, he went locally and purchase a new pinion gear bearing locally for rather cheap. He assumed that the same pinion bearing went on these but he said he found out that it changed in 2010 for some reason. When I look on American Muscle's website, it lists a pinion bearing for sale for $49 but it doesn't specify model year. Did the bearing, in fact change for 2010? If so, does anyone know where I can get one for cheaper than $50?

TIA,
Zach

I was doing some research and found out that Ford did change the pinion bearing for 2010 and newer. The bearing number is 9L3Z-4630-A.
