Thinking about painting my rims...

Thinking about taking my stock rims off, and painting them either black, or dark charcoal. What do yall think? Anyone done this yet? Thanks

EDIT--Does anyone have any photoshopping skills, that could do this for me? Thanks again!

Stock Style 18x10s for the Rear! - Mustang Forums at StangNet
I purchased a set of black oe style rims staggered from am, look great , but if I could do it over I would paint the front rims and just buy the 18*10 for the rear, the replica rims are cheap and to be honest you get what you pay for , I've been trying to get rid of this shimmy for the past few weeks since Ive bought them.

Quadcammer, WOW, that looks nice. Did you have someone do this, or did you do it yourself?

I had them powdercoated at a local shop. Had quotes from 35-70 dollars per rim. I pad 50 each. Worst part about it is leaving your car on jackstands for a week

Thanks. No I didn't paint them. I got them from blue oval industries. About 10 dollars a piece. CS front with roush grille is my next mod.

Your car looks amazing. I am seriously considering the black 5.0 emblems and PC'ing my stock wheels matte black. How hard was the install of the emblems? Were the OEM ones easy to remove?

I have the CS fascia and Roush grille and it is how the car should have come from the factory!

Your 5.0 is pretty sweet as well. I to love the C/S front end. The install was easy. A blow dryer, plastic scrapper, and some tape. The oem double sided tape was a biotch to remove so use a blow dryer. So easy a cave man can do it!!!! Just make sure to tape around the oem badges so you can place the new ones in same spot.
