Sound tube question!

Where is the foam in the sound tube and how to remove it,I heard there were (2) do you remove both or just one,pictures would be nice with directions,THANK"S.

GT1120 answered your question so I will give you me opinion...
I removed the outer most plug from the fire wall first, sound was good, a little more noise in the cabin… Removed the second… I didn’t like it… I put that one back in…
much better now...

I don't speak often but when I do, I don't have clue what I am talking about. I just repeat things that I once heard and do not repeat them correctly... My doctor told me it was an ID 10 T problem and it was incurable.
So when I reply to a post or add to a thread I just find the words elsewhere and copy and paste.

I took the one out closes to the diaphragm and left the firewall one in. That seemed to be the money for me. Otherwise if you take them all out, then you have the engine noise being pumped into the car at your left foot. Its very fake sounding. Not what people are expecting Im sure.

I personally took the whole damned tube out and plugged the hole with some Oreo Cookies and duct tape. Sounds much better and my car has the sweet smell of country fair deep fried Oreo's.
