Couldn't agree more that people seem unable to read plain English and make decisions based on their need. MC 5w50 is a borderline 50w, and quickly shears down to the 40 range. Dealers do not routinely test oils even when an engine grenades, as the metal particles can make some tests problematic.
BTW, has anyone mentioned that the MC 5w50 is made in Korea? Surprised the haters haven't picked up on that since they endlessly beat the drum about the MT-82 being a Chinese assembled product.
