Transmission fluid fill thru shifter area

I've done this in the past with many other Mustangs when I installed an aftermarket shifter. Should be ok with the MT82 as well, but wanted to ask first if others have successfully used this method

I doubt it, the shifter assembly is mounted too far back from the transmission fill area w/o insulting they are remote mount shifters that don't mount directly onto the transmission.

2012 V6 traded in for a 2017 VW GTI.

Should have searched first and didn't realize the shifter was a remote mount, thanks

If you want to fish a hose about two feet to get to the fill hole and have the possiblity of making a mess inside your car...
Just buy a hand pump for like 8 bucks and you can fill it hile the ar is on ramps... If you are changing the fluid the car has be lifted one way or another... 2.75 quarts
If you are just checking the level, make sure the car is level...

I don't speak often but when I do, I don't have clue what I am talking about. I just repeat things that I once heard and do not repeat them correctly... My doctor told me it was an ID 10 T problem and it was incurable.
So when I reply to a post or add to a thread I just find the words elsewhere and copy and paste.
