Things I need to know before....

installing a JHR clutch line.

I have about 5500 miles on my car and recently the clutch started getting stuck a few inches off the floor after some high rpm pulls. I've heard of this happening to some of your rides, and it seems the higher flow clutch line is the fix.

I'm looking for any install tips as well as any other things I should do while I'm down there. Thanks in advance.

Here is my how-to.

Another thing to consider is removing the helper spring on the clutch pedal.

Good info!! How difficult is the clutch spring removal? I've looked at it a few times and I always feel like I'm gonna break that white plastic piece

I personally think this is definitely a worthwhile mod. I just ordered a JHR line today for $59.99 shipped from LMR because of the video they posted on YouTube and my prior experience in the LS1 f-body world. Us f-body guys have had a very similar issue with our slave cylinders due to a restriction in the factory line. As a result, the "drill mod" where owners actually drill out this restriction was developed...and it cured a lot of issues.

In changing platforms, I was surprised to see such similarities in issues/solutions. Needless to say, it was a no-brainer for me to make this purchase and I'll be hoping me and my big hands don't struggle too long with the install.

Good luck with your install. I'm going to order the clutch line today so I should be able to jump into it this weekend.

I'm holding off on the clutch line. I just popped off the assist spring and it's a night and day difference!! Clutch feels great. I just went around some back roads and gave it a good beating. It didn't stick once.
