Tuning question

I have seen this mentioned before, but would like to see what everyone else is seeing.

Does your fan seems to run more often?

Has anyone called who ever you got your tunes from and asked why?

They programmed it to come on sooner/lower temp, or is the motor running warmer due to the tune?

I didn't notice this with my sixxer.


2012 GT Premuim A/T Sterling Gray, Loaded, Tinted, Steeda 93 Tune, JLT Oil catch can, 12" MTX Sub, CHE LCA's, GT500's, Boss/CS Lower Fascia W/foglights.

the tuner can change the fan curve /fan profile on the tune. im sure thats why your fan comes on more often.


2011 Musang GT 6MT. Ford Racing 4.10 gears, TA Rear End Girdle, Boss 302 intake manifold, O/R x pipe, Ford Racing K springs, upr pro-series lca/uca/mount NGK 6510 gap to 0.32, ID 1000 injectors, KB Boost a pump, Paxton novi2200sl w 3.6 inch pulley 10psi. tuned by lund racing. unknown power.

I have a Bama tune, and my fan comes on more often. The AM rep has said this is done intentionally.

Yeah mine does the same thing...no issues!

2016 Ruby Red GT/CS 401a automatic with 3:55 gears, bone stock, but not for long!
