Update. I've had the front LCA noise since I had just a couple thousand miles on my 13 GT. my bumper to bumper is going to run out in August so I just took it in. Dealer replaced both front LCA assemblies according to the most recent TSB. Totally quiet over speed bumps now! I know the noise may return but the dealer addressed as best they could which is all I could ask.

Looks like you found the right thread. Sounds like it is probably the front LCAs.

I just got mine back from the shop for front end creaking. According to the worksheet, they only replaced the right hand LCA citing this TSB. Should they have done both?

Taking my 2014 in for this issue tomorrow. Hoping for the best.....printed out the bulletin with all the parts (they already diagnosed and ordered). They should do a complimentary alignment as well yes?

Look. My 2012 made the noise even after an LCA replacement. My 2014 makes the grunting noise. I just don't worry about it anymore. I lease Ford cars regularly due to my job (Focus, Fusion, etc) and they all grunt on speed bumps. Just turn up the radio! It's a fact of life anymore. FORD = noisey LCAs....

Bought a 2012 mustang gt, the arm control arm issue is present on the car. Took the car to the dealer three days later show them the TSB report. They told me there is nothing they can do. i don't know what to do about because I think they are doing me wrong. Any help on how to get the dealer to do something about the defective car they sold me would be appreciated.

BTW if you live in Orlando, Fl DO NOT buy cars from Greenway Fold. they are scammers.

The Ford Mustang is more than just a car, is passion and family.

Haha I'm cracking up! I will chime in and say mine never came back. 40k miles now

Here is a video of mine inside the car. Listen with headphones or turn up your volume when I'm going over speed bumps. That was at like 2k miles. Fixed under warranty twice by Ford non purchasing dealer. It has never been back.

So my control arms, shields and all got replaced and it was so nice over speed bumps. Few days later and when I turn to the right and sometimes back to the left I get a creaking/popping noise!?! Wth could they have done to my car now!?! Back to the dealer tomorrow...

If you read this thread thru you'll note that the success stories are almost non-existent. After the hassle I had with my 2012 and reading about others' bad experiences, I decided it was easier to accept the noise rather than go thru the misery and inconvenience of having the parts replaced only to have the issue return. Mr. Choate is extremely fortunate!!

I would've been ok with that if the noise wasn't worse and more frequent now! This is crazy.

After two and a half hours "diagnosing" my dealer is not sure what is causing the noise when I turn now. They "think" it's the steering rack!?! In a 2014 with 14k miles and a week after this control arm repair. I find this highly suspect, but they are contacting ford "hotline"? For advice......
