DIY tuning options

I've got HPT and EFI Live from my days playing around with LS1s and LNFs (sorry for all of the Chevy lingo on the Mustang site). Is SCT pretty much the only option on these cars if I want to start messing around with my ECM or are there alternatives?

Tuning is tuning, Chevy, Ford or Mopar. They are done differently, T.J. Tracy owns Motorvation Tuning and does mostly Chevy's but I'm trying to get Ford owners to like his Facebook page & message him to start doing the 3.7 & 5.0 motors. That said, Diablo Sport makes a tuner for DIY tuning.

SCT pro racer pack is a single license version of SCT's main software suite. Unlike HPT, you won't be able to tune any cars other than your own, nor will you be able to view tunes other than your stock and your own tunes. It'll feel crippled compared to what you're used to, but it is what it is.

HPT finally has a guy (Eric Brooks) working on Ford stuff. I don't think late model F-150s and 2011-up Mustangs are all that far off. I know he's been working through a backlog of other stuff for a while now.

I too have HPT sitting around since I sold my old Silverado.
