That is an amazing price, but then again, under 'normal' circumstances they only need replacement every 100k miles. That's typically 8-10 years of driving, so it's not bad in that light.
Better than the 'old days' when plugs lasted 10-20k miles and had to be replaced yearly. They were $1-2 per plug, then.

I have a Magnacharger on my 2012. I used the Motorcraft SP-524. This is a double platinum plug, one step colder than stock. It is supposedly the same as the FRPP cold plug, but does not come pre-gapped. You will need to set the gap at .035. I paid just over $60 at my local Ford dealer for 8 plugs. No problems here.

2012 GT premium 6r80 Kona Blue with Saddle interior : Magnacharged, 3.55s, BFG G-Force Super Sport A/S 255/45-18, GT500 axlebacks, Saleen grill, CS lower valance, SLP trunk panel, MRT adjustable head restraints, BOSS oil cooler, BOSS brakes lines, C-Max ceramics for street and SP Performance Street Plus pads for light track duty, NAPA 5.1 brake fluid, BMR springs, LCA relocation brackets, panhard bar, Steeda ProAction shocks and struts. GT500 strut mounts, other small mods. Daily Driver.

I just bought a set from AM.... I didn't think much about the price while purchasing my $5800 Procharger. They didnt come with the Procharger kit. I think if you shop around you can find them cheaper. Car parts in general seem to be getting more expensive.

I should have asked why do you need plugs first.

How can you buy a Mustang and complain about the price of parts? Have you seen the modding community? $350 for an air filter with plastic tubing. $400 for a few lines of software to make your car faster. $500 for exhaust that does nothing but add sound etc etc etc

Mods are the real scam
