I bought my car 2 weeks ago, 2012 GT with brembo pack, during the 2nd day of ownership I ordered the GT500 axelbacks, and got them in my house within 3 days, got them installed right away, and yes, they were louder than stock, but not by much, then I installed a custom 3" H pipe while retaining the factory cats, and the fackers became almost as quiet as stock.

I ditched them out this past weekend, and I had Flowmaster 40 classic mufflers installed as replacements, reused the GT500 tips since I liked them, and the exhaust sound is much better, old school deep, fairly aggressive while giving her gas, loud but not obscene, overall, I love how the Flowmasters sound in this car, and I really didn't like Flowmaster in anything other than the old 5.0's, I was going to go with Magnaflows, but my muffler guy convinced me to try the Flowmasters (40 series originals), he menationed something about the delta 40 or super 40 not being as good for something I can't recall, lol, there is little bit of drone in the 1900rpm area, but is so little, it doesn't bother me, and besides with the 3.73's, i'm doing 2100 rpm at 70mph, so I can say I have no drone

I have a 14 GT/CS. I put Corsa Extreme axle back and they sound amazing.
