Hello again everybody!
I've been experiencing loose front suspension lately and I'm not sure what the deal is. I have 275/40/19 on all 4 wheels, but it still seems like it is way too loose. I pull HARD to the side on grooved pavement, seems to be mostly to the left. On seemingly flat roads I have a tough time keeping the car exactly straight, it seems to wobble slightly right and left and I'm constantly correcting it. I also have some kind of rattling/slight clunking going on somehwere in the front suspension. I got under the car and when I push up on the passenger side front sway bar, I hear what sounds like the same noise. The end links swivel a good bit, but they don't feel like they are damaged or anything...
Also, at highway speeds if I have to brake more than a couple seconds, I have a fairly loud howl from the passenger side front brake. (stock brembo brakes). When I hear the howl, the brakes, or brake, fades quickly and I lose braking power somewhat significantly... not runaway-car brake loss, but obvious loss of braking power that is really annoying and concerning. I also get a lot more brake dust on the passenger side front wheel than the passenger side rear wheel. I have a laser temperature reader and the passenger side front rotor is maybe 10-20 degrees warmer than the opposite sometimes. I have yet to test the temp after a long highway drive however. I DO have replacement rotors ready to put on the car, I just need to find a brake pad I want to use. Probably a ceramic type.
I hope this is something I could tackle myself. Maybe it's easy as a front brake job or replacing end links/some other type of suspension fix. I am out of bumper to bumper warranty, even still, this car is my DD and from my recent experience to Ford about my clutch/trans, they don't give loaner cars. So basically I can't leave my car there for over a day because I work full time..... All ideas appreciated.
