My tuner told me not to install the Comp's but I didn't listen. It's just money, right?
Well that sucks to hear, those things aint cheap. I just put in a Pypes X, that along with my Magnaflow axle-backs, and the little sound difference with my Airaid MIT, I'm happy with the sound. If I listen hard enough it almost sounds lopey at idle with my ear in the exhaust tip. If I'm imagining it who cares if others can't hear it, I do I've given up on the cams, I love my low end power and with a gear swap, currently have 3.15s I'm sure I'll be even happier. If I need a cam sound to make me sleep good at night I'll just fire up my 08.

2008 California Special: Boss 302 stroker, KB huffer, driveline, fuel, electronics, suspension, chassis, some outdoor pretty parts, Boss 338's i.e. nothing really left that's stock. Meth injection under construction. Tuned by Chris Tuten at The Muffler Shop.
2012 California Special (DD): Minor modding, just looking for sound, throttle response, and handling from this one, nothing fancy. Tuned by Steeda.
