I like my Nitto 305/40R18 NT555r's for the street. Hooks up well and the treadwear is decent for a Drag Radial. However for a daily driver you would probably want a tire that will last longer as the max they are rated for is 15k miles.

2014 Mustang GT 6R80, Procharger Stage 2 D1SC, BBK 85mm TB, Boss IM, Sai Li fuel system. Circle D 3C, 1-7/8" Kooks Long Tubes w/Offroad X Pipe, Lethal Over-Axle Pipes, Corsa Quad Axle-Back, Eibach Pro System Plus, BMR K member, Shaftmasters DS, Forgestar CF-5 Wheels and Nitto NT05 tires. Lund Tuned

Lots of suspension goodies and some other stuff I can't remember.

Sounds like Michelin Pilot Super Sports get the best reviews if you're not planning to run a drag radial of some sort.

Yea, I haven't really seen any negative comments on here for the MPSS. A lot of guys on here like them. Personally though I have no experience with them

Outside of some sort of track/race specific tire, the Michelin PSS are nice. I run them on my 2012 GT, 275/40/19's front and back. They are pricey though, $300+ each, plus mount and balance.

Tirerack gave them a great review, and the user reviews are 4.5 out of 5 stars across almost 1000 reviews.

I'm running the 275/40/19 PSS on my Supercharged 2012 GT. It's not enough. You will need more tire.

smoked a set of MT sport comp's in under 5k 305/35/20s to boot, switched to a set of 275/35/20 Falken ZE950's and LOVE them! Hook up so much better and should last quite a bit longer!

2014 Mustang GT / E-Force Supercharger / Borla axleback / Recaro / Brembo 6P 15" / DSS Aluminum / Cervini hood, louvers, wing / Ford Racing Short Throw Shifter / M/T Street Comp SC5 wheels and M/T Street comp tires 255/35/20 and 305/35/20.

315/35/20 Nitto Envos and they hook pretty well. NT05's have hooked the best for me but they dont last as long as I would like.

Might want to check out Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Positions as well, they can sometimes be quite a bit cheaper than the PSS for almost the same performance (2nd place in a Car and Driver test). I got them when they were running a 70$ off a set of 4 promo and they've been pretty good, definitely seem to hook up better than the Hankook V12 Evos I had before, though that might just be because they were getting old...

Mods: 2010 AM GT500 wheels + Bridgestone Potenza S-04, GT500 axleback, MGW race spec, FRPP P springs, KONI STR.T struts/shocks, Steeda adj. panhard, BMR rear LCAs+relocation brackets

I replaced the Super Sports, which I really liked, with Conti Extreme DW's - really impressed with them and they were cheaper than the Super Sports, mind you I don't have a blower............yet!!
