The 3.15's are fine in the autos. Just need a tuner to rev out third gear at 1/4 tracks. Stock shift points has it shifting into 4th right before traps.

Mine runs almost 130 mph in third gear now. Lol.

I have 3.15 s in my 2013 auto gt would love to go to 3.55 or 3.73 . Track pack cars have 3.73 with 19 inch tires & some other goodies.

3.73 tops unless you want to shift a lot in the city and have horrible highway gas mileage.

BAMA 93 tune, Steeda CAI, BBK 73mm Throttle body, BBK LT headers, BBK catted X-pipe, SR Perf rear LCA, Ford racing 3.73 gears, FR strut tower brace.

3.55's or 3.73's in your auto would not make your car any faster. You have almost the same gearing as the track pack cars with 3.73's when you factor in the gearing with the 6R80 auto. In fact your 3.15's combined with the 1st gear in the auto is actually steeper than the MT82 and 3.73's combined 1st gear.

Just a side note. If you will ever consider putting in a blower, stick with the higher gear set. I am keeping my 3:31's just in case I strap on a Vortech. 3:55's would be good combo more than likely if you want more low-end grunt. Make sure to use the beefed up pinion bearing, either way. Stocker bearing sucks.

I'll chime in with my 2 cents, I had 3.73's on my 2013 GT and it was insanely fun running through the gears... for a while but you really do end up shifting way more than you probably want to when you're just driving around town. My new 2014 has 3.31's and not only am I averaging about 1.5 MPG more on average on my same commute but I also feel like I get to enjoy 1st and 2nd a bit more.

If I ever do change the gearing I would probably opt for 3.55's just to be a bit of a compromise between my two experiences, I would never go with 4.10's on this car.

I would start with a good tune then if you haven't already and also ditch that BBK crappy CAI.

Hey Hamilton!
Luke I'd go 3.55's - better now and it'll give your blower something to lean against when you upgrade.
