Used Brembo Brake Condition

Hey guys,

I am currently in the process of buying Brembo takeoff brakes for my Mustang and was wondering if I could get some opinions on the condition of a set that I found.

Thanks

They look to be in good shape to me, but I`m no expert.

That's the entire knuckle, and not very good pictures to determine how they are.

I'd want to see the pads and dust boots- If the dust boots are cracked and burnt, they've likely lived a hard life, with possible track use. If the pads are worn unevenly, the calipers likely need a rebuild.

Ask for pictures of the pads and pistons and you'll get a better idea of how they are.

Also...why the whole knuckle attached? That's a little weird....

Thanks for the replies. They were part of a totaled mustang that got parted out I think that's why the whole assembly is there.

Yep I'm with CSAM, you need to see the pistons, the seals, the pads etc
