Tire?

I just pass 30k miles on my car, and. Will need tires soon in the next 3-6 months. I'm looking for decent tires... I have the base, I think they are 18"...

Budget, would prefer under 200 each tire.. I use the car all year round..

Which brand should I get?

choose your tires based on what type of driving you are going to do. tires have speed ratings. you may see a 'W' or 'Z' on them after the size. i think 'W' is rated up to 150 and 'Z' is 150+, double check. sticky tires wear out fast. touring tires last 40k miles or more but don't corner as well

Try some searches; you'll have more threads to read on this subject than you can imagine.

In same situation as you. I was buying Eagle F1 Supercar to replace my current, but just found out they are not in production and all have been bought up in my sizes. So the search starts now...

Tires I am considering not sure if in budget.
Conti DW is a great tire and have ran before on a 2011 GT. Last about 25K miles with a couple drag strip days and autocross days on them.

Nitto 555R are a great tire and I ran them a long time ago.

Comp 2 is a great tire and have had friends run them and love them.

Pricey, but Pilot Super Sport or PS2.

My Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires would be my top recommendation as I picked these up for $150 a tire last time.

I am considering the highly recommended Nitto NT555 G2 and will be more than likely ordering those today. Do a quick search as I just posted and people reviewed them.

I just ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports for $267 ea. installed w/road hazard (including taxes). I hope that was decent deal, I couldn't find them anywhere locally except for one shop. Wife had a flat today and ruined the tire (didn't pull over right away). I'm glad she didn't trash the wheel too. Anyway, I decided to replace them all. Will take it to the shop tomorrow or Monday.

OP, if you want good cheap tires go with Sumitomo HTZ III. If you want the best, get the Pilot SS.
