2013 gt exaust and idle questions

I have a 2013 5.0 with a BBK long tubes, BBK CAI, BBK catted x pipe, Flowmaster outlaw mufflers and a tad over 30k on the odometer. I have a few questions:
#1 What would cause the exhaust to smell really strong? its like a feint fuel and a lot of reg exhaust smell. Its strong enough to make your clothes smell if you stand near it.
#2 It seems to me to be idling too high. 1200 rpm or so at idle and takes a bit to idle down upon stopping, and lopes like a cam after it warms up. (I think someone put a lame ghost cam tune on it).
#3 a few times it acts like its loaded up if I get on it hard all of a sudden. (stutters on acceleration a tad).
I get no codes thrown. never overheats. oil pressure is good and strong. no oil use/ burning issues, or water contamination in the oil.
So is this probably a crappy tune issue or does it sound like it could be a bigger problem?

My car acted the same way when it had a cam tune on it. I have an o/r X and if I stood behind it long enough I could smell it all on my clothes even while I was inside.

Yup, I will get the smell on me from inside as well. So now I need to find someone to re-flash the ecm? will the dealership be able to reset my ecm back to stock, or should I try to get it custom tuned?

1200rpms sounds on the high side. Tune, ehh. They usually try to get it towards stoich/leaner than richer. Leaning out the fuel to a point on N/A makes more power than a rich tune. Unless you have FI or nitrous, then you want it to be more on the rich side. If you have cat deletes, then yes, you will smell a little more of the exhaust/gas smell. If this has not been the normal with this set up, could possibly be a stuck open injector or a vac leak but usually you will get a cel for that. With the vac leak the o2s will signal a lean condition and try to add more fuel to the mix and bumps the rpms.

If it's got a ghost cam tune then dump it for something without the gimmick. The idle will probably clean up and be set at a reasonable RPM (650-750).

Does it have any work under the hood? Cold air intake and/or Boss 302 or CJ intake manifold? Make sure intake tube connections are tight.
