It's been suggested removing the resonators makes them louder... Not sure if I want to do that though.

I forgot to mention that my resonators were removed when my GT500 axle back mufflers were installed. I don't know how much louder it is because of that, but I do get a nice crackle and pop sometimes from the exhaust that I really like.

Newbie needing advice...

RE: Ford GT500 Quad Exhaust

Can anyone tell me the difference between the two axlebacks? There is a big difference in price.

Is one better the other? Sound difference? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Resonator delete does make the GT500's slightly louder. I ran the GT500's for about 4 months by themselves before I found a used set of 2013 GT500 over the axle pipes without resonators to install.

IMHO, the resonator delete made the GT500's sound perfect.
