The biggest tires for the front are 285,the biggest tire for the rear are 315,with NO rubbing problems, this is according to A/M,just make sure you have the PROPER rims for the size tire you are using.Hope this helps you.

255/45-18's on 18x9.5 wheels were the factory front wheel and tire sizes for the 2008-ish GT500. There was plenty of room when I put that exact combination on my '08 GT, and the sheetmetal hasn't changed all that much since (255/40-19's are close to the same width and diameter and this was one of the later S197 fitments).

Running that tire size on 8" wide wheels won't change anything adversely as far as clearances are concerned.

'08 GT coupe, 5M, wheels, tires, pads, fluid, a few suspension mods . . . still almost stock height
'19 WRX, 6M (hers)
'01 Maxima 20AE, 5M (spare, winter driver)

Thanks Norm!!
I got 2 of the Kumhos today and put them on the rear......the other 2 should be here tomorrow or Friday but with only 2 on the rear the tire noise is greatly reduced!!
