2011 gt ac / fan issue

I had this posted in another section "mustang talk" but it might be more suited for this section of this forum and I'm new to the forum scene so excuse me if it's already been covered.

So here's the problem, about 2 years ago my a/c randomly cut out. I brought it to the garage, they recharged the system and it worked fine. About 2 weeks later while traveling across Canada the ac quit again, in 35 degrees, that's 95 to my friends south of the border.

I finally make it home and again they recharge the system and it seems like it's working but once again she loses ac. The last shop I brought her too told me they couldn't find a leak. But oddly this only happens during the day when it's warm.

The last time it happened one of my friends asked why my fan is constantly on and being a car noob I thought that's how it was suppose to be, but he assured me it should only come on when engine temp is high, and when the A/C IS ON, but the fan is on even when the A/C is off.

I have no tunes and the only aftermarket part is a roush axel back exhuast. I started the car today and sure enough, after being left out over night at near freezing temps the fan cut in as soon as she started. I haven't had any issues lately with the ac but this fan being constantly on is annoying and I'm worried it's a symptom of a bigger problem.

This is where the post should end but sadly there's one more, very loud, annoying issue. There's a whine coming from my engine bay...sounds like I have a supercharger installed but she's all natural. Someone told me it could be a transmission whine but i just installed a brand new transmission and it was there before it was installed and after. So if someone could help me out I would be very grateful.

why would I lose ac so often, what could the whine be, and why is my fan constantly on? I'm only asking 3 questions in one thread because I feel they are related, thanks in advance guys!

Sounds like you need A/C compressor work. Possible leaking seal and bad clutch or bearing.

Just a WAG since I can't really know from an Internet post.
