Some of you won't believe this but I am working on a 2014 Mustang GT that has 10-12 tail lights in it. [lower edge has the dip in it] It would appear that no body work was ever done to the rear of the car to modify it to this style. StRaNgE !!!!
Can anybody explain this?
Was the Car bought from a rental car company by chance? When the 13-14 came out people would rent the cars and switch out he tail lights to the newer style in their 10-12
Interesting story. I don't have the answer to that but........ would a 10-12 style light with that dip in the bottom edge fit against the 13-14 bumper?
or maybe one of the tail lights got broken somehow, and the prior owner found out how expensive the 13-14 style lights were; so got the 10-12 style because they were cheaper, maybe from a junk yard?
possibility. Actually this was a salvage vehicle so original owner might have switched prior to the insurance company taking the car away.
