Lease Residual on GT/Money Factor

I was on leasecompare.com and they have the 2011 Ford Mustang in their calculator. There is discussion on their forums on teh residual value for the lease. IIRC, Mustang GT is among the best in residual values historically (around 62-65%).

I lease my cars b/c I'm reimbursed from work (I don't believe in buying cars).

Is there any info on the money factor or residuals for the lease programs that Ford Credit will offer? Has anyone leased a V6 or GT on this board?

I would disagree. Never lease a sports car. They depreciate too fast. Despite what everyone here thinks, there will be nothing special about the 2011s in 3 years when the lease is due, thus low residuals.

I'm not so sure about that. Mustang GT historically has had a 60-65% residual value after 3 years which is very strong (I believe only the Mini Cooper and Prius are stronger).

US Bank has a 63% residual and .00189 money factor on the 2011.

that's pretty healthy.

On what mileage and how many months?
Thanks

Btw, I was quoted 620/month + tax for a base 2011 GT from the dealer for a 36 mo / 12K lease, lease compare had an estimate about 200 lower. That's a big difference.

That's what I thought too. It's really difficult to get a sense of what others are getting though so I thought it might be that Ford is trying to push people towards buying with such an unattractive lease offer.
