The Redwood Coast...A Third World Country !

June 1, 2010...Just picked up my mail.

I got a large post card from my local Ford Dealer. (Fortuna, CA)

It says THE 2010 MUSTANG IS HERE.

Wow, I just can't wait to see LAST YEAR'S MODEL !

And you poor souls think you've got it bad waiting now for your 2011s which are on hold, by the thousands, in Flint, Mi.

Yep, I also received that mailing. The good thing is that I also received the personalized $750 post card, so at least I should hopefully be able to use that, whenever my car decides to show up (of course it ended up at ramp 51 right after production, been staying there 1,5 weeks if nothing happened the last few days)...

2011 Mustang V6 Premium MCA Convertible, Sterling Grey/Stone, Auto, Comfort Pkg, BAMA tuning (91P FTW!), factory front and rear quarter-panel 6x8" speakers replaced with Infinity Kappa 6829cf, door subs replaced with Earthquake SWS-8x, Alpine PDX-5 amp & PXE-H660 processor...

Yeah I got the same postcard about 2 weeks ago.

If I wasn't so freakin' upside down in my Sonata, I'd probably take up the offer for the $750 on either 2010 Fusion or 2010 Mustang v6 as a daily driver. Unless I can find a dealer that's willing discount their cars $2000 or so before applying rebates, that will never happen.

For Play: 2011 Ford Mustang v6 Premium Coupe w/Pony Package. Stock...for now.

For Work: 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE. The fun daily driver.
