Something to worry about? / Getting something else.

To all those waiting like me:

I was just thinking - I wonder if there will be any consequences of our cars sitting for so long. With the rings not being completely seated and possibly sitting for 2 months(my build date was Apr 14) without occasional starting, when they finally do go to start the engine could it score the cylinders / damage the rings? I doubt they have workers going around to 1000s of cars and properly cycling the engines and running them for a few minutes every couple of weeks.

Just a thought.

Also on another note, I've told myself that if my car isn't at the dealership by the end of June, I might just buy something else. I've been looking at BMW Z4s and can pick up a 2007/8 M/SI for around the same cash as my V6 premium would cost.

Get the bmw but resale was real bad on mine. It was the most fun car ive had to drive. I had a 325is 2 door. But about the starting problem u think of. Its no big deal since they file the rings rite?
