No problem. press the city and dim buttons together to enter the program mode. Scroll through the options and turn on or off on each selection. X is the only one I deleted.

Thinking of upgrading to the Escort 9500 with GPS photo ticket locations included.

The tint is Dark. In Florida we are allowed 80% I think, but this is a little more. It really helps in the 94 degree heat with 89% humidity in the Summer.

You will liek the 9500, I just got mine yesterday when i got my windows tinted at the place, and they were 150 bucks cheaper than best buy. So i only paid 350 for the 9500.

I have a question for you...where did you find/buy a K&N filter for your new 5.0? I assume you did not have to re-tune your PCM with the new higher-flow air filter element? Thanks for the info and you certainly have a beautiful 'Stang! Take care! Jack
Thank you for all of the compliments on the car. I must admit I really do love it. And she is everything i thought she would be from the order form to actually running her through the gears. Incredible acceleration and very precise steering through the back road twisties. I bought the K&N directly from Lethal Performance @ Lethalperformance.com. It arrived within a couple of days, and you can tell there are a few more ponies in the corral. Hope this helps.

No re-tune for the replacement filter required. Just pull out the old and pop in the new.
The boys at Evolution Performance are offering 2 cold air intake systems which include the sound tube. One is mild and does not require a re-tune. The second is much more aggressive and requires their custom tune. They were the first put a Kona Blue 2011 in the 10's. Can't wait to see what else the aftermarket is going to bring. Really want the new Roush shifter with the white cue ball!

When you say 80% you mean 20% for tint right? 80% would be very light, as that means it's 80% visibility.

How hard is it to see out of at night when backing up and is that 20% all around?

What a beauty! I love Kona Blue, and it looks better everytime I see it. Keep posting pics, please. Are there places nationwide that can do the Evolution tune, or do you have to visit them?

Thumbs up Excellent Info!

Hello Dewracer007, thanks again for the info! Sounds like that custom tune may be the way to go along with the off-road exhaust system, cue ball shifter (I assume similar to the 2010-2011 Shelby's?) and any other performance goodies they are developing that will add more horses to the already lethal 'Stang. Thanks again for sharing this very good info and for sharing pics of your truly 'awesome' car! The background (ranch with horses) is totally AWESOME as well! Take care and please keep us updated your experiences and performance insights...have a great day!

The originals are 15 megapixel, but can't post anything near that on here. Send me your email Private message and I'll send it over.

As for the tint, it is 80% plus. VERY DARK and yes, you need to be careful backing at night. I drive her mainly in the bright Florida sun and use my Jeep at night.
