Anybody dropped their 11's !

Just looking to see who lowered their '11's. I just ordered 19" x 9.5 "RTR wheels and would like to change springs and tires. I have the Brembo pck on my car ( to arrive soon i hope). Is the 1.5" drop too much ? What size tires should i go with. I'm thinking 275/35's back and for driviability 255/40' front. Am i in the specs ? Any pics would be great. thx

I actually did see yours, but wanted to see if others had done it too and with what size-brand wheels. Yours doesn't say much on tires though. any specs you can provide me on your '11 !

The tires are the stock 245/45/19's.

I had 20's on the back of the '10 with 285's and no issues.

One nice ride, was this '10 with stock suspension ? What were you running up front ?
What was your exact tire size set up both front and rear ? Thx

My experience... I'm most likely going to go thru Ford Racing, I bought a kit from them for my 2006 GT that had the springs, dynamic dampers, anti-roll bars and a tower strut brace (which I won't need this time). They've offered this every year so far, and when I called them, they said they are testing on new GT. I paid $900 at the time, I think it's 1200 now for the 2010. My 2006 is simply fantastic, the only other complete kit I would be interested in is from Rousch. I don't know anyone who has it, so can't say much about it. I do know a couple of guys who just bought springs and there is simply no comparison. I had my kit put on by an authorized Ford (authorized by Ford Racing) dealer (only 3 in Ohio) and the camber was adjusted, put on the laser rack and comes with complete warranty. When you spend 30k + on a car, another 1200-1500 (somewhere in there with install) is nothing. Rumor has it, the new kit may come with a custom ECS tune. I've been offered 22k for my car (which I'm not selling), so I think it is huge for resale.

2006 GT, FRPP drag pack, FRPP handling pack
2011 GT ordered 1/30, off the truck on 6/21

Black GT - 401a, Black/Cashmere interior
6 spd, spoiler delete, security package
3.73, HID, comfort package
Brembo brake package, Glass top
First mod - CS front fascia
