2011 GT/CS, no Brembo package?

Early on I saw a video on YouTube and they were driving a CS and said it had the Brembos. I went to a couple different order guides(encs, USAA and Ford) and you can't get the package. Is it just the rims? They are 19's like the Brembo package right? What gives? I'm thinking of not getting the CS package now, I really want the Brembos AND the CS packs!

Yeah, he CS can't also have Brembo's. You pretty much guessed why, word around here is that since both packages come with wheels, you'd end up getting screwed by paying for 2 sets.

Don't forget.... The stock '11 rotors are still bigger than the '10 rotors, up from 12.4 inches to 13.2, so you still get better brakes than previous years.

Is it a fit issue or just a package type issue? I mean will Brembos fit with the CS pack wheels or not. Could I add them to the CS aftermarket or would it need new wheels? Sam I Am, how are you liking your CS? I love my '07 CS and really like the '11, living in Germany doesn't allow much chance to test drive the new 5.0! Any impressions would be appreciated.

From researching this, the problem isn't the wheel diameter, but the spokes. The Brembo calipers are wider than the regular ones and they will hit the back of the wheel spokes. It limits the choice of wheels. Stuff like the 18" SVT or GT500 wheels clear, but none of the other stock 18" ot 19"s.

I really like the car much better than the '10 I traded in. The shifter/driveline is much smoother, the engine doesn't sound winded over 3,500rpm... it just goes!

I've had mine up to 110mph for several minutes, and 140 for a second, and it felt rock solid.

Drew- That's what I read as well.
