Last year I worked for ford as a contractor changing out torque converters in the new escapes. This must be a common thing where they put out a car that already has problems. Hey they cant wait to make service cash I guess. My trucks at the dealer rite now .

Anyways, it was good money. $1920 a week, but they did work us 12 hours a day 7 days a week. I had a new guy working with me and just the two of us pulled in and drove out 6 cars a day to get them fixed. Ford pays big for this kinda crap and its a huge rush to get them done, be sure of that. Some poor/lucky crew is working non stop 24/7.
