Mustang Shipping during Plant Shutdown

I'm aware that the Mustang plant is shut down until Monday the 12th. I've called Ford and they say my car has been sitting on Ramp 5P for a few days now, do you know if they'll ship it soon? My car will be delivered via convoy, so I'm NOT very patiently waiting for it's delivery!

Thanks
Michelle

They probably will start shipping again on Monday. I have seen other people have cars sit for weeks and some sit for a few days. It is all up to the Mustang Gods.

I had heard they were closed until Monday the 12 also but I don't know why. I also think they are shutting down soon to get ready for Job 2. So are they only going to be open for a week or so before shutting down yet again or am I confused about something.

I'm not sure which 2 weeks the plant will be shut down, but I have a production date of 7/26, so at least we know they're open that week...

My Mustang was shipped out this week (yesterday I believe, dealer didn't give me a specific date). My dealer told me it had been sent to Ramp 5, and was currently in OH on a CSX rail car today. So I'm assuming they shipped it out during their close-down time, because last week it had yet to be shipped.

They were shipping. I have seen a load of Mustangs zoom by on I94. At least the ones that were released to the train and truck shipping agents. Ronn
