That would be a little disappointing if it is only 430 hp (not that this is anything to sneeze at). You would think they would go all out.

I'm not that happy there saying it will be about the same price as a GT Premium. Makes me wish I'd waited for it.

I would suspect any new model 302 near the same price of a 5.0 GT will just be a 5.0 GT with 302 striping. Start adding the performance mods to make it a true 302 throwback and the price will be nowhere near that of a GT, premium or otherwise....

Sounds like it'll have lots of suspension goodies manufactured by Multimatic, meaning that the Boss will likely be a street-going track car. And if it's only 30k or so, it's probably poorly optioned, like those that want a Boss want their Boss. Possible radio delete, cloth seats only, less sound deadening, no a/c, more plastic and less aluminum trim, etc. etc.

Proud owner of a '65 289 coupe. Equipped with Edelbrock Performer intake, Quick Fuel 680HR carb, ported stock heads, 282 Magnum solid cam, Hedman longtube headers, MSD ignition, and decked and ported heads. T5 transmission with hydraulic clutch. Griggs Racing GR350 suspension. 8.8 rear end. Griggs front & Wilwood rear brakes. Many more mods to come!
