I am definitely looking for something different.

Any ideas on tweaks would be great.

I like it, but I think it would look a little better without the horizontal on the hood going to the side. Keep the hood stripes going with the hood, but nix the ones going from the hood to the side, and start the side stipes above or below the 5.0

2011 Mustang GT premium, Kona Blue, black over the top stipe, 6-spd manual, 3:73 gears, Brembo Brake Package, Comfort Package, Electronics Package, Coupe Package #5, Steeda CAI w/ Brenspeed tune

I generally don't like stripes of any kind, BUT if you like them, GO FOR IT!! Make your car your own, and don't look back!

OP,

You beat me to it , I had an almost identical idea for mine (well the same minus the center hood stripe and the pinstripe outline). So needless to say I like it.

DawgPny,

Much more respectable way to express an opinion than I read in the other recent "stripes" thread, well done .

Now it might not be possible, but for about 500$ you may be able to get a hoodscoop. I personally love the look of them, expecially if functional. But, I could be way out to lunch in that noone has made any kits yet since it's so new. Or it might look like crap on the 2011's don't think I've seen one with a HS yet
