HIDs on a non-HID car, *pics*

I have a 2011 5.0 with pretty much every option available, except the HIDs and the glass roof, which I wish I had gotten. Either way, I have the standard headlights, because I thought the HID ones looked strange. They're just now growing on me, but thats too late. So I installed some 6000k dual beam HIDs in my headlights, and i think they came out pretty clean. I did this a while back, about 2 months ago, but I never put up any pics. Me, not put up pics, lol, imagine that. :p

Anyways, I think the factory head lamp is better on this style mustang SN10, than my last S197, as you can see the cut off is much sharper.

The car.

The wall in front of the car a few hours later.

I know it's not all "razor sharp cutoff" or anything like the actual HIDs, but it's pretty damn close I think.

Outstanding! That first photo looks like it's from a magazine!

But you can't post photos and info like that without telling me what to buy! What exact kit did you use - I would like to do the same. My only issue is I want to keep the fogs in my grill so I guess I would need to convert those also.

That first pic is EXTREMELY clean. Any chance I can bother you to shoot me a background-sized file via email? I've been looking for a good shot of a 5.0 w/ the brembo pkg for my pc background, but all of em look like 4x4's.

This is off topic but caught my eye, the 2011's aren't S197's?

HID's turned out great by the way.

Dual beam 6000k in the sense they tilt up and down for high/low. Any retailer that sells them for our older styles S197 should fit the new ones no problem. The one's I went with were very very inexpensive, and had no instructions, lol, but I do this on all my mustangs, I cant see w/o them.
